The Moooi Common Comrades by Neri&Hu is basically a love letter to small-town life where everyone knows exactly who you are and what you do for a living. This Shanghai-based design duo created six different side tables, each one representing a different character from rural community life - the Emperor, Farmer, Seamstress, Tailor, Merchant, and Scholar. What's charming is how each 15.7-inch cube has the profession actually engraved right into the wood, so you're not just buying furniture, you're adopting a personality.
